A tour of our demo landscape
What can “Mein Bildungsraum” do for me? How can “Mein Bildungsraum” make access to learning easier in the future? What is already possible today? Since October 2023, the first technical features of “Mein Bildungsraum” can be tested in a so-called demo landscape.
The purpose of the demo landscape is to showcase possible applications and technical capabilities until enough education partners are connected to “Mein Bildungsraum” to begin working with real courses and data. It will also be used to test the connection of educational programmes to our production environment as part of the launch of the test phase.
There is currently already a large selection of scenarios. For example, there is a “Chamber Demo”, a fictitious representation of the processes at a Chamber of Industry or Crafts. Users can test the scenario “Completion of a Master Craftsman training programme in the Carpentry Trade”. More and more test scenarios are also being created in the university, school and further education sector. Test users can complete further training in the field of nursing or request a digitally verified certificate via the education app from “Mein Bildungsraum”.
In the various scenarios, we cover all education sectors as far as possible and welcome further comments and suggestions from users. Based on the feedback from the beta test phase, we have already revised the usability and user experience in the demo landscape and added new functions.

What is a beta phase?
The beta version of “Mein Bildungsraum” was released in October 2023 as the first minimally functional version of the network infrastructure. In the beta phase, the first users can test the functionalities of “Mein Bildungsraum” using various scenarios. The feedback received here will flow directly into product development in order to continuously improve “Mein Bildungsraum”. The testers initially include people familiar with the project, network partners and subsidised research and development projects. At the same time, education providers will be connected in order to increase the reach and range of “Mein Bildungsraum”.
