NBP Developer Days: Kick-Off for Development Teams Working Together on “Mein Bildungsraum”
“Update, transfer, connect and have fun” was the motto of the “Mein Bildungsraum” Developer Days (DevDays) at the beginning of April. The aim was to work together in the engine room of the digital network infrastructure for education.
The ten development teams for the individual components met with their product owners, software architects, requirements managers from the project office and the responsible project group from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The teams, based in different locations in Germany and Estonia, were able to network, hear about the latest developments and work together on the further development of the network infrastructure. Their focus: the planned autumn release of the beta version.
The shared vision was refined according to the key scenarios, and the progress made by the teams, who had started working at different times, was presented and compared. This provided ample time to get to know each other and to work out the development potential of the digital network infrastructure in detail.
The following development teams are working on the five basic technical components that will be available in the beta version of “Mein Bildungsraum”:
- Team Digital Identities (identity management, IdM): Wisercat
- Team Digital Identities (Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure, AAI): SINC
- Team Wallet (Backbone & Connector): J&S-soft
- Team Wallet (App): J&S-soft
- Team Digital Certificates (central services): T-Systems
- Team Digital Certificates (Frontend): Wisercat
- Team Data Space: bridgefield
- Team Showroom (Liferay): XITASO
- Team Showroom (Government Suite Builder): Digitas Pixelpark
- Cross-functional integration team: Wisercat
We look forward to continuing our collaboration and are even more excited about the results coming out of the beta launch in autumn 2023.
